WATCH: What it’s like bargaining for knockoffs at fake market

Popular YouTuber Collin Abroadcast recently published a video documenting his delightful day of haggling at Beijing’s famous Silk Street fake market.

While the whole 20-minute video is worth a watch, one segment in particular has become a hit on Chinese social media, showcasing the tense negotiations between Collin and a relentless shoe saleswoman over a pair of “Jordans.”

After Collin tells the woman that all he’s willing to pay for the sneakers is 200, she asks “US dollars? Euro?” claiming that he won’t be able to buy anything in her shop for that price.

“Nobody sell for you, for Jordan. Not ladies shoes. Not baby shoes. Not socks. You understand? This is Jordan, this the high-tops. Not slipper,” the saleswoman yells at Collin before he walks away… and is waved back.
